10/2000: Venture Technologies Group buys station for $110,000.
5/2002: NBC buys KPHZ from Venture Technologies Group for $7.5 million.
Late 2005: FCC approves the switch of channel 39 in Phoenix (KDTP, Daystar) and channel 11 in Hollbrook, AZ (KPHZ, Telemundo). This gives NBC Universal a full-power signal in the Phoenix market allowing it to compete with Univision 33 (KTVW.)
2006: NBC and Daystar swap frequencies with Daystar trading a Phoenix station for a Holbrook station and several million dollars.
